The Star Eyed Navigator

She zailed the Unterzee, before. She speaks quite fondly of her old crew. You ask what became of them.
She just smiles, and asks if you want more tea. Behind her glasses, you see the burning glow of an artificial star.

Drew my character Kaxalma as a Sky/Zee Navigator, a la Sunless Skies/Seas. She may or may not have been exposed to the Dawn Machine during her time on the Zee, but aside from her physically "Bright-eyed" status, there's not much that betrays this. She hasn't set foot in Albion or New London since she crossed over the Avid Horizon, and honestly seems hostile about the subject of the Clockwork Sun.
I'd originally started a version of this early last year, but various circumstances at the time stopped me from getting very far, and I decided to revisit it the other day. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out! There are some things that could be improved upon, but that's how it always goes, isn't it?
